Sarah Berkheimer

I am a thinker, listener, illustrator, art director, communicator and puzzle solver, and in all things, a designer. I approach creative challenges with a blend of pragmatism and inventiveness, never failing to check all the necessary boxes, but also never failing to question every box along the way. I believe result is work that resonates, that engages, and that seamlessly connects a brand's story across all types of media.

I have worked as a designer, art director, digital artist and illustrator in the advertising field for 15 years. I joined the Martin Agency in 2004 as a designer and art director, and I am currently Design Director at Cactus Communications in Denver, CO. In my current role, I am responsible for the conception, development and execution of visual solutions for print, television, online and mobile applications. I love the variety of creative opportunities in advertising and am always up for a new challenge.

As Design Director, I oversee projects from conception to completion. I have experience in illustration, print design, online advertising and web/app design and have worked for clients such as Walmart, Oreo, Hanes, Morgan Stanley, Discover, Geico, PING, and Benjamin Moore. And I have art directed television campaigns for the Colorado Lottery, Vail Resorts, Benjamin Moore and Experian.
